Your Private Island Awaits.
On an island in the jungle, overwater glass domes open to the Caribbean. No crowds. No day guests. Just sea, sky, and your own private island escape.
Designed for those who want more than a hotel.
Overwater glass domes that float at the edge of the Caribbean. A community hub where mornings begin with coffee and evenings find you barefoot at the bar. Nothing extraneous. Nothing missing.
Glass domes. One private ocean.
Each dome sits on a private deck extending over clear Caribbean water. Glass panels above your bed. A direct ladder to the sea below. This is sleep as immersion.

Frequently asked.
When does the resort open?
Sera Island Resort is preparing to welcome its first guests in February 2027. Join the waitlist for private construction updates and early access to reservation windows before we open publicly. Our architectural overwater glass domes and the island around them are currently being brought to life, with every detail designed to create something unforgettable in Bocas del Toro.
How many guests does the island accommodate?
Sera Island Resort is intentionally small: eight overwater domes in two layouts — six King Domes for two, and two Double Queen Domes for up to four. No day visitors, no group takeovers. At any given time, the island belongs entirely to those staying here.
Are activities included in the booking price?
A complimentary breakfast at the community hub is included daily. Activities (snorkeling, surfing lessons, fishing charters, jungle hikes, cultural tours) are available as add-ons and can be arranged before or during your stay.
Is Bocas del Toro safe for travelers?
Yes. Bocas del Toro is one of Panama's most established tourist destinations and the island is entirely private, accessible only by boat. Panama itself is politically stable with a strong dollar-based economy and excellent infrastructure.
What is the best time of year to visit?
November through March is one of the most beautiful times to visit Bocas del Toro, with drier skies, calmer seas, and ideal conditions for island days. September and October often bring a “veranillo,” or little dry season, with warm water, quieter surroundings, and a more intimate feel.
Can I book the whole island for a group or event?
Yes. Private island buyouts are available for groups of up to 10. Contact us directly via WhatsApp or email to discuss your dates and requirements.
